Research shows that students become more fluent in a target language with repetitive, authentic interactions. The focus of Global Elementary is teaching Spanish to English speakers through grade-level appropriate songs, games, videos, dance, and other stimulating activities.  

Each unit also provides a global view according to the theme of study, so students learn about other cultures, while developing a global mindset.

My name is Laura Stone, and I am the creator of Global Elementary.

I obtained my BA in Art and Elementary Education from Morehead State University and my MA in Art Education from the University of Cincinnati. Later, I earned my Rank I, and after a decade in the classroom, I achieved my National Board Certification. I have experience teaching in elementary through college levels.

Additionally, I am an artist and a writer, but above these passions is my enthusiasm for travel. My extensive trips abroad have fostered a deep appreciation of culture.

The main goal in establishing Global Elementary is to prepare today's students for tomorrow's globalization and inspire world intrigue in future generations.
